Digital cameras, digital photography, tips, accesories, reviews
I bought my son a digital camera and i would love to read some product reviews. Where can I do this?

Please do not send me links before you look up the product.

It’s called a CyberPix Digital Camera Kit.

It comes with 3 interchangeable face plates and can take up to 117 pictures at a time.

I looked for it on the kb toys site, where i bought it, and it was not there….

thanks for your help.

I found a web link for you with ratings from other people near the bottom of the page on this link :

It is a $30 childs toy … I don’t think you will get any critical reviews on it. It is really a digital version of the old "Instamatic". Fixed focus (at about ten feet) and no adjustments.

I am sure that it will be a wonderful untroduction to capturing images for a 7 year old + child.

When your child shows added interest in taking photos of his/her friends and favorite subjects and shows responsiblity in caring for it, you can later consider a more powerful digital from Canon or Nikon … the two leaders in professional photography and thus make some fine point and shoot cameras.

I know you didn’t want links, but here is one with three reviews.

This really wont let him take sirious photos. It is a play kids camera toy that he will prabably want a "REAL" camera like a Kodak, Canon, Nikon, or Fujifilm. When I was a kid, my parents gave me a really fancy Nikon optical zoom advance film camera and that put me with the best cameras all the way up to my SLR and Nikon Coolpix today.
