With its 3 frames per second continuing shooting rate and its 1/8000 2nd shutter speed, taking footage is as easy as clicking away and having a good time. This Nikon electronic camera is supported with a Flash card.

Another SLR from Nikon is the Nikon Coolpix 8800. An 8-mega pixel Nikon electronic camera, the Coolpix 8800 has a compact body. Furnished with a 1.8 in. flip-out and swivel LCD, this baby is surely first rate SLR. This Nikon electronic camera features an imaging stabilizer system to reduce camera shakes particularly on long shots since this contraption can zoom up to 10x (optical zoom) and can focus to up to 3cm in macro mode with its 35-350mm lens. Key controls are really user-friendly, with modes like sensitivity, image size/quality and white balance – found directly with the mode dial. The image output quality is the middle name of this Nikon digicam, with extensive detail rendition, color fidelity and saturation. A slightly phenomenal feature of the 8800 is the continuous shooting modes, where users can select 1.2 or 2.3 frames per second. A bit cumbersome to tote around, the 8800 is perfect for shooting action and sports shots. The 8800 works alongside a Compact Flash card for storing up your pictures.

Another digital SLR from Nikon is the Nikon D50. A 6.1 mega pixel Nikon electronic camera, this contraption has 7 sundry modes to shoot from employing its AF-S DX Zoom Nikkor 18-55mm lens. How fast can this camera shoot? It has 2.5 frames per second and with uninterrupted shooting of almost 137 frames per second. This Nikon electronic camera is not too bad, especially for beginner photographers. This package also includes a software for touching up, modifying and sharing your photos. The software even permits you to burn your photographs to VCD or DVD format.

Fujifilm: X-Pro 1 Camera Will Remain Flagship, But More Mirror-less Cameras Are Coming

When I visited Fujifilm’s booth at CES in Las Vegas at the end of Tues., I asked some of the Fujifilm reps about the future of the company’s mirror-less, interchangeable-lense family of cameras. Now, the company only has one mirror-less camera on its team, and it’s called the X-Pro 1. It debuted at CES during Press Day on Monday before the show opened on Tuesday.

Without confirming that his company would boost its mirror-less options, one Fujifilm rep expounded the X-Pro 1 would remain the company’s flagship mirror-less if the company were to grow its mirror-less line. In such an eventuality, the company would attempt to compete at the prosumer and consumer price levels with these new cameras, letting the X-Pro 1 pull in the pro set.

Consequently, it could be a few years before the company improves on its top-of-the-line mirror-less camera, so don’t expect a big brother to the X-Pro 1 camera any time soon. We bet the the new camera will lead the way for at least two years, but that’s just speculation; don’t quote us on that.

Fujifilm’s X-Pro 1 is scheduled to launch in late February February, according to the reps at CES. We were rather impressed with the units we were permitted to handle, and it’s bigger than it appears. Still, it’s seriously smaller compared to your characteristic DSLR, and it’s actually worth your consideration if you're in the market for a professional’s mirror-less shooter.

This bad boy will set you back almost $2,000.00 depending on conversion rates, and that’s not bad considering a DSLR can cost 10x that. It’s also significantly smaller than your typical DSLR, though it’s a bit larger in person than it is in pictures. Actually, this is probably one of the few cases where the product itself looks much better in person than it does in official, touched-up photos.
